This dam reservoir on the Kwisa River was created by damming the river below Gryfów Śląski in 1924. The reservoir has a capacity of 12.4 million m³ and an area of 120 ha. Its main purpose is water retention and electricity generation. Around the lake there are several campsites, watercraft rental points and holiday resorts.
